TPS92515HV: IADJ max input Current

Part Number: TPS92515HV
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS92515

Good Morning,

I would like to adjust the current on TPS92515HV by creating a voltage divider using Analog/Digital Pot.

Since TPS92515HV has built diode clamp on its IADJ pin, I would like to supply 3,3V for the upper voltage. My question is what is the maximum input current for the IADJ pin? I mean what is the maximum current for the clamping diode inside the chip? I could not found it on the Datasheet.

Best Regards,

Yo Shua

  • Hello Yo,

The TPS92515 does not have a diode clamp on the IADJ pin. It's high impedance and can be tied to VCC (5V) if analog adjust isn't used. The current sense voltage just doesn't increase any further after you go above 2.4V. So 3.3V on it will be no problem. The abs max spec is 5.5V in the datasheet.

    Regards,

    Clint
