LP8860-Q1EVM: Micro went bad, Need replacement

Could you please describe more in detail problem with MCU? How is it damaged? Is PC being able to detect device when plugging in USB? Is D2 diode on (blinking green light) when USB connected? Please also try resetting MCU with S1 reset switch if having done that yet.

I was trying to give the PWM input to my custom board from the EVAL board, Unfortunately that pin shorted to higher voltage.

Now in Eval board no LED is glowing when i connect the USB.. When i used DMM and checked the EVAL board, the VDDIO rail impedance is showing 0 Ohm.

How to i load my firmware? This part will come without any programming right?

If i replace, whether my LEDs will glow???

I can't assure that this is only damage on the board, but we can check if replacing uController solves issue first. Yes, I will need to send you firmware loading procedure for new micro. I currently don't have the procedure document but will send it out soon.

From the other e2e thread, how are you able to turn on LEDs, are you using own uController to communicate to LP8860 , or is this done on another EVM board?

Yes.. I used with the help of another micro to program it.

But i need this EVM to be up and running to evaluate the few product requirements.
