Hi Team,

It is required 10uF capacitor at VLDO as the following.



Could you tell me what is occured if my customer uses 4.7uF?
He set 1250kHz for fsw in this case.

    Hi Yaita,

    All those capacitor values in the table are selected base on simulation and bench validation for ripples, stability etc. So using those values will be the safe way to use the device.

    I can't really predict what will happen if 4.7uF is used instead of 10uF. The ripple might get larger, stability might be more marginal. The internal LDO is critical to the operation of the LP8556, I suggest your customer use the recommended value.
