TPS61165: About variation of VFB

Part Number: TPS61165

Hi,

I am considering the TPS61165 device.
The purpose of use is for liquid crystal backlight.
The specification is below.
With current control I assume LED current of 0.2mA minimum.
It is necessary to set VFB = 2mV.
I want to know the variation of VFB, but it is not mentioned in the data sheet.
The variation described in the data sheet is up to VFB = 20mV. (17mVmin, 23mVmax)

I want to ask you a question.
Can you teach me MIN and MAX with VFB = 2mV?

(specification)
VIN: 5.5V to 13V
LED VF: 3.5V
VOUT: 3.5V * 5 = 17.5V
ILED: 0.2mA to 20mA (100 divided)
PWM cycle: About 10kHz

Best Regards,

  • Hi Kaji,
I'm afraid we don't have data about the variation of VFB=0.2mV. So I cannot tell the Min and Max. If you are worrying about whether the LEDs will be light off, that won't happen. Since the dimming ratio is 1%, as for PWM frequency is 10K, the Ton@1%= 1us, the min Ton time is 40ns, so LEDs will be turned on all the time.
