TPS92515HV-Q1: IADJ pin bias current

Hello,

In my customer, the IADJ pin is pull up to Vcc pin. In the datasheet, the IADJ pin is connected to Vcc pin directly but they use pull up resistor.
In this case, the device is operated when Rpu is 47kohm but the device is not operated when Rpu is 470kohm.
Are there any bias current requirement of IADJ pin?

Best Regards,
Ryuji

  • Hello Ryuji-san,

According to the designer IADJ is a high impedance input so it should likely work. However that impedance has never been characterized so it is possible too high a value could make a difference. If IADJ is to be pulled up it is recommended to use a much lower value resistor or just tie it to VCC directly to reduce cost.

    Regards,
