Hi there,

What's the output current capability of TPS61196?

If I understand the datasheet correctly, it's 200 mA continuous and 400 mA pulsed per string.

However, how long is the pulse length that TPS61196 can withstand under 400-mA output current?

Hi Roy,

Thank you for the question.

TPS61196 can support 400mA pulse output for each string for PWM < 50%.
For PWM > 50%, TPS61196 can support 200mA Continuous output current.
