Hello All,
I am working on a project for LED Lighting. My Project specifications are:
Input - 100V~245v ACFrequency - 50/60HzOutput - 19.2V / 0.78APower in output for LED(6 LED's) - 15W
Right now I am working on to design a circuit. Can anyone suggest me about LED Driver which convert AC to DC.I have thought about to use of LED Driver TPS92210 for the circuit.
Thanking You & Regards,Jainam Shah.
Do these LEDs require dimming?

Hello,
If you find any other LED Driver which is more compatible to my project, please suggest me.
Personally, I am partial to the TPS92070 Integrated Dimming LED Lighting Controller. There are two EVMs available and I have a MathCAD file that steps through the design process if you decide it could suit your needs.
Thank you for your reply and suggestion.
I would like to go for TPS92070. and as you told me about a MathCAD file,it will be my pleasure if you can share it with me.
The circuit for the TPS92070 will be very different than the TPS92210 you have shown in your schematic. There is a design calculator for the TPS92210 (TPS92210_DESIGN_CALC) that you could verify your design with.
I am presently having technical difficulties with MathCAD, I will reply shortly with the MathCAD file as soon as I win this battle...
Here is my MathCAD file that I used for the TPS92070 designs
Thank you so much for your quick response.
I have gone through the documents you have shared with me.
I didnt find any program to review .xmcd(MathCAD) file.
Can you please suggest me any software or viewer for that.
Thanking You,
Jainam Shah.
The file requires MathCAD but here's a pdf version. Unfortunately, it won't be interactive like the MathCAD version but you can still see the equations in the pdf version.
The driver selection is purely dependent upon what features the final product requires. Each of the controllers will work well in their appropriate application. You need to review the features of each to decide which one suits your overall needs.
Thank you so much Lisa Dinwoodie for your kind support.
It will help me much to design my final circuit.I am very grateful to you.
Unfortunately, because the Application group is limited in size but our customer base is worlwide and vast, we do not have the ability to review every customer application. We focus on specific issues and develop design tools and rely on the field applications support team for verifying customer's specific designs. You could send it to me but I will not be able to do an in-depth analysis of it and would rather have you contact your local field apps.
That's really fine with me.
