Q: Need 6s1p LED "Macbook pro battery gauge" style meter - I2C/SPI control by 1574398
I need a LED driver 6s1p controllable by I2C/SPI, for a dB meter application. End device is a touch sensitive volume bar.
I saw the LM3914 - is this the strongest part we have? Anything on the roadmap?

You might consider some of the TLC59xx LED drivers. Some of these have I2C control. The "Power Management Selection Guide" (search on those words at www.ti.com gives you the link) gives a good summary of the parts that might work.
