Is there a part number decoder within TI to help address the questions about what the suffixes mean? For example, G3 vs. E4 vs. nothing?

    Ronald,

The attached presentation explains the different designators as they relate to TI's GREEN program.

4213.TI's Lead Free and Green Program Parts Designations.pdf

Slide 6 contains a handy list of designatorsthat you can use to reference when looking at part numbers.

You might also want to keep the following weg-site handy:

    http://www.ti.com/sc/docs/package/guide.htm

It shows all of the packaging designators.

Please let me know if you have further questions.
