Hi TI,

Does

LM2936QM-5.0/NOPB

LM2936QM-3.3/NOPB

have any Kind of Under Voltage Lock Out (UVLO) that shuts down the device if Vin Drops below Vin(min) as mentioned in datasheet electrical characteristics for each device?

If there is no UVLO shut down, does the device still continue to have an output voltage Vout = Vin - Vdrop even if that would be lower than the regulated Output voltage ?

LM2936 does NOT have UVLO..

Vout will track Vin for Vin above approx 2.7V. Vout will typically be near 0V for Vin less than approx 2.5V.

Unfortunately the Datasheet for http://www.ti.com/product/LM2936Q-Q1?keyMatch=lm2936q&tisearch=Search-EN LM2936Q does not have such a diagram explaining the behavioral between Vin and Vout.

I would assume the same behavioral for the fixed 3,3V Version too.

Yes, the LM2936-3.3 output will start regulation with Vin just above 3.3V
