LP3985 or LP3990 - Minimum stable load current?

'Load Regulation' is specified from 1mA to 150mA for these parts.    Can the regulator run and maintain output specifications below 1mA?     Presumably they'll run smaller loads but will they suffer stability/high-offset problems?

Background: We use LM4132's at 2.5V for thermister arrays with nominal loads of .7-1.0 mA.   The 4132 specs load regulation between 0-20mA.   We need the capacity to alternatively drive user sensors above 20mA as well so the desire is to replace the LM4132 with a high current regulator in the new design.
