In our application the LP5907 may be used to provide a 3.3V supply from a 5V supply or the 3.3V supply may be directly supplied by and external source with no power applied on the 5V input side. Also fed from this 5V side is a TLV1117V regulator (1V8), if the 5V supply is not present and the 3.3V external supply is present, then the TLV1117 will receive power which goes through the parasitic diode of the pass element in the LP5907. I can find no discussion on the suitability or recommended current that can be sustained by the LP5907. Is there any guidance for this?
