TPS717 PSRR Measurement

Hi team,

My customer test the TPS717XXEVM-134 PSRR performance.

The result as below.

The PSRR test result is not good as datasheet.t 

We want to know if there is any different between our and your measurment set-up.

    Hi Prescott, 

    Can you tell us what you output capacitor, input voltage, and load current are? A higher output cap and input cap would provide better PSRR, while higher load current would decrease PSRR. 

    Also please make sure that your conditions are within the recommended ratings on the datasheet, as these devices are designed, characterized, and tested for operation within those conditions. Exposure beyond the recommended operating may result in performance and reliability degradation.
