LDO EN pin for TPS74801TDRCRQ1

Hello,

For TPS74801TDRCRQ1, I was browsing through the datasheet in attempts to find out of the EN pin has any internal Pull Down and was unsuccessful. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Hi Corry,

There is not an internal pulldown on the enable pin. Per the datasheet, EN should be driven at all times and must not be left floating.

Hi Ryan,

Thank you for the quick reply. Just one more question for you.

I plan to always drive the EN pin HI to enable the LDO. Would I also need a weak Pull Down resistor on this EN pin?

Hi Khoi,

If you are intending to always drive EN high, you can directly tie EN to Vin. No pulldown would be required in this case.
