TPS7A6633-Q1: Resets With ESD

Part Number: TPS7A6633-Q1

I used TPS7A6633-Q1 on our BCM broad. It might reset when we took a 4KV ESD test.

Not only that, the TPS7A6633-Q1 might stop work, and then I must supply Vin for TPS7A6633-Q1 again.

This is the schematic of our broad, can you give me any suggest?

Thanks~

  • Hi Kane,

TPS7A6633-Q1 has a 4kV HBM rating per AEC Q100-002 and in accoradance to ANSI/ESDA/JEDEC JS-001.

Your schematic appears to follow the datasheet recommendations.

    Very Respectfully,

    Ryan

  • Hi Kane,

the datasheet recommendations regarding input capacitor are as follows:

    8.2.1.2.1 Input Capacitor
The device requires an input decoupling capacitor, the value of which depends on the application. The typical
recommended value for the decoupling capacitor is 10 μF. The voltage rating must be greater than the maximum
    input voltage.

The 100nF might be a bit too small (but maybe there is another capacitor at the input not shown in your schematic cutout)

    Best regards

    Carsten
