TPS7B68-Q1: Peripheral elements when PG=OFF, WD=standard

Part Number: TPS7B68-Q1

Dear all,

Could you teach us what peripheral elements is needed when we do not use power-good and use standard watch dog?

My idea of peripheral elements are following. Is this correct?

pin 1[IN]: Input capacitor

pin 4[EN]: no (connect to Vin)

pin 5[FSEL]: no (connect to Vin/GND)

pin 6[WTS]: no (connect to Vin)

pin 11[ROSC]: resistor to set Twd

pin 12[DELAY]: no (open)

pin 13[WD]: no (connect to GPIO)

pin 15[WDO]: pull-up resistor

pin 16[WD_ENB]: no (connect to GND)

pin 18[WRS]: no (open)

pin 24[PG]: no (open)

pin 25[PGADJ]: no (connect to GND)

pin 28[OUT]: Output capacitor

Best regards,

  • Yes you are correct with what is required for the LDO to operate with a standard watchdog and not using the PG function. The Detailed Description and Application and Implementation sections of the datasheet provide additional information that can help you select the size of the external components (ex what size resistor to use at Pin 11 for ROSC).

    Very Respectfully,
    Ryan
