LDO Regulator Reccomendations

Hello, I am trying to choose voltage regulators to power a micro-controller with a CAN transceiver and a INA260 current sensor. My input is 12V and I need to regulate that to 5V then take that 5V and regulate that to 3.3V. I will also be using a TPS2111A to give the option of a 5V ext supply rather than 12V. I am trying to avoid using tantalum capacitors. The current draw shouldn't be too high (20-30mA should be fine).

Any recommendations?

    Hi Matthew,

    I'm a little confused if you are looking for one or two LDOs. You mention needing to regulate from 12V to 5V and from 5V to 3.3V, are you going to use an LDO for the 12 to 5V or just from 5 to 3.3V?

    Have you tried using the LDO Parametric Search to narrow down the options which might best fit the needs of your application? You can use the filter to narrow your search using your system requirements and key care-abouts until you find a reasonable number of devices that you can evaluate.
