HI ALL

I need an answer for the below query.

I am using LP2951 adjustable LDO for my oscillator Circuit which draws 10mA to 15mA of current. I have used 0.47UF tantalum capacitor at the output of LDO.IS it required to use low ohmic resistor in series with the Tantulum or not? what will be the output impedance of LDO in this case?

    Hi Sarath,

    Please note that the minimum output capacitor for this device is 1 uF.

    As long as the ESR of the capacitor falls within the stable region as depicted in Figure 30, no additional resistor is required.
