Hi, Team

LM317 has Internal Short-Circuit Current Limiting.

What is the value that this function works ?

I Check Figure 2. Load Regulation in Figure 2. Load Regulation , From there it can be read as 1.7 A to 2.8 A, is it correct?


Could you tell us about each of the following?

Current Limit : min  A

                       typ    A

                       max  A

    Hi Taichi,

    The current limit is specified in the Electrical Characteristics table and Figure 2 shows the typical characteristics of the current limit.  The Min and Typical specifications of current limit depend on the headroom (Vin - Vout).
