LM323-N: Differentiating between A version and non-A version

Hello team,

Per the DS, the A version has 1% initial accuracy.

- What is the non-A version's accuracy?

- How do i know if the LM323K that i have is the A version or the non-A version?

    LM323A has temp range of -40C to 125C whereas LM323-N has the temp range of 0C to 125C as highlighted in the datasheet pg. 3.
    Thus Output voltage accuracy is also highlighted in the datasheet both both version on pg. 4.
    LM323K ( T03 pkg) as indicated on package Information highlights that it is of temp range 0C to 125C. Thus it would meet non-A version electrical specifications.

    The datasheet shows that at 25C, the output range for the LM323-N is 4.8 to 5.2 V.  That would make the initial accuracy as +/- 4%

    TI no longer supplies the LM323A.  When it was offered, the part number would have been LM323AK, instead of LM323K, which is the only version we currently offer.

    If you need better accuracy and only need 1.5A output, you might want to look at the LM140/340 family.
