TPS7A49: Standard product

Hi,

We use the TPS7A4901DGN in one of our new designs. Is it possible that this device is not the preferred device from TI point of view? Should we better use the TPS7A4901DRB?
It looks as there is almost no stock of the device in the HVSSOP package. Is this just a temporary shortage or are there plans to discontinue the device in the HVSSOP package?

Hi Patrick,

I looked into our system and I could not find any changes to speak off, so there are no plans to discontinue so far. For information on lead-times, you should contact your local sales representative or distributors. However I am seeing that the DRBR version is currently in stock, so it can be leveraged while the stock is re-filled at our distributors.
