Q: TPS72015 turn on VIN/VBIAS sequence by 741196
a question regarding tps72015 :
We have IN = 1.8V and BIAS = 3.3V
We can’t guarantee the power sequence on turn on and shutdown - do we need any protection ?

The only comment I found in the DS says that Vin shouldn't exceed Vbias.

You must ensure that the voltage on the TPS72015 IN pin never goes higher than the voltage on the BIAS pin. I suggest connecting a schottky diode between IN and BIAS with the anode connected to IN. This prevents IN from going higher than BIAS at both turn on and turn off.
