TPS51367: DDR soluton for space concern

Hi

my current design is 12V to 1.5V, Imax=4A

TPS51367 set Fsw 400khz, inductor is 2.2uH.

is there any solution can let me scale down layout space, thanks

    you mean Vout is 5V? 51367 just support max 2Vout, please be noted.

    it's suggested to use 0603 footprint for input cap and output cap, and 0402 footprint for other components. Try to place components as near as IC.

    TPS51362/51367 is converter, special for NB Memory, integrated mosfets, the PCB size has already been reduced a lot.

    And also they are with ULQ function can improve light loading efficiency.

    If you still want to reduce PCB size, except Edwin's comment, use smaller R/C components, you can select smaller inductor and 0603 MLCC output cap as well.

    Another suggestion, if you just want to design a 4A/1.5V power rail for VDDQ use, i think you also can select some common buck, such as TPS565201, the size is very small, function is simple, and the protection is non-latch, not sure can meet your requirement, please check.
