Part Number: TPS53219A
may i know the difference between the two versions? because i don't see the difference in the datasheet..
my customer used the TPS53219 version to design before, but now change to TPS53219A version to design a new project,
the customer want to know where the difference is.. thanks for your great support.
For your question, there is no difference between TPS53219 and TPS53219A. They are using the same die since 2011. Prior to 2011, the development team discovered an issue during CCM to SKIP mode transition that necessitated a post RTM change of the TPS53219. The post RTM silicon was named TPS53219A to prevent confusion in the field. Both TPS53219 and TPS53219A started to use the same mask set (die) after 2011. To minimize effort on inventory/factory, non A was NRNDed on TI web site.
We are glad that we were able to resolve this issue, and will now proceed to close this thread.

do you mean TPS53219 CCM to SKIP mode transient issue? may i know what the problem is?
sir, there's one more request , is there any report that can provide A version of TPS53219 conversion TPS53219a? like a PCN report or something..
In reply to Tommy Tzeng:
Its not an issue but a change was made to avoid any potential issues. There is no PCN and the orderable part now is TPS53219A
