MC33063ADR output capacitor selection
My design used MC33063ADR, If we would like to change Co from 470uF to 330uF. Is there any effect to our design especilly feedback control loop? or do you have application note to describe how to select output capacitor?
Vin = +12V
Vo = +5V
Iout(max) = 170mA
Vripple(pp) = 0.5Vpp
The ripple may increase a little, but the control loop will not be adversely affected. The MC33063A has a comparator feedback that does not require a compensated feedback network.
