Concerned boost converter, what's better to work in continue conduction mode or in discontinue conduction mode?

What are the advantges and disadvantages of each one the these two conduction modes?

    This is a very involved answer and depends on many factors.  I suggest that you obtain a book on power supply design to help you make this descision.  If you find a TI IC that meets your requirements, I suggest that you use the EVM design with minimal changes.  Your local distributor can assist with more details.
