Hi Team,

My customer considers to use TPS40400 not to use PMBus interface.

Could you tell me how to handle following unused pin?

---------------------------------

1) ADDR0

2) ADDR1

3) DATA

4) CLK

5) CNTL

6) SMBALRT

---------------------------------

I think 1)～5) need pulldown and 6) can be open.

Is my understanding correct?

Hello - I would float or pull-up the PMBus pins.

My suggestion would be:

ADDR0 = Open or AGND

ADDR1 = Open or AGND

DATA = Open or Pull up to BP3

CLK = Open or Pull Up to BP3

CNTL = Open or Pull-up to BP3 -- if you ground CNTL, by default, power conversion will not start

SMBALRT = Open or Pull-up to BP3
