Problem with the step down DC-DC converter LM5008 ?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5008

I've read datasheet of LM5008 and got stuck in the following point: "The average value of this portion of the waveform is 45.5mA, and will cause half of the voltage ripple, or 14 mV."( please take a look at page 12 of the attachment).

In my opinion, during the the period ("Starting when the current reaches Io (300 mA in Figure 13) half way through the on-time, the current continues to increase to the peak (391 mA), and then decreases to 300 mA half way through the off-time."), capacitor C2 is charging, so C2's voltage difference between the start and the end of this period is the whole ripple voltage 28 mV, instead of the half 14 mV as stated in datasheet. Is there anything wrong here ?
