Hi,

I received a question from my customer.

How should they think of the temperature change of max frequency?

It is described in the datasheet P24 about how to calculate the max frequecy,


although it is not described about the temperature change.

    To include temperature change you will need to include the variation in all of the parameters in the equation across temperature. The parameters which vary with the TPS54160A are switching frequency and minimum on-time. The worst case typically occurs at max temperature where the switching frequency is highest and the minimum on-time is highest. Based on our characterization data the absolute worst case expected minimum on-time at 150 deg C junction temperature is 175 ns.
