TPS62080 output accuracy

Hello Chris-san,

Thank you for your kindly help always.

I'd like to ask you about vout accracy on below datasheet

Do these devices have PFM/PWM mode?

If it's so, which mode is -2.5% to +2.5%? What is accuracy  PWM?

Is there any way to improve output voltage accuracy?

For example, If there are  two mode PWM and PFM, and also PWM mode  is higher than PFM for Vout accuracy.

Is there any way to use by PWM mode in PFM mode?

If you have ay idea to improve accuracy, please let me know.

Thank you & Best Regards

K.Narisawa

  • That is the accuracy of the fixed output voltage versions.  The FB pin accuracy is given a little bit further down.  Being at 0 mA and with no means to force the device into PWM mode, this is the accuracy in PFM mode at no load.  Typical load regulation plots are given in the D/S (figure 15 for example).

The PWM mode accuracy will be tighter, but we do not specify how much tighter.
