Hello,
Is there a way to raise the UVLO for the TPS61029 from .8V to 1.5V? Would just using a diode work, or is something like the TPS3803 needed? Thank you very much.

hi Russell
if your "a diode work" mean adding a diode from VIN to EN, i don't think it work. for TPS61029, the EN is only logic input, which is logic high in 0.8*VIN and logic low at 0.2*VIN. when VIN=1.8V, the EN voltage is about 1.1~1.2V, which is between 0.8*VIN and 0.2*VIN. the EN logic is unknown in this voltage.

Thank you Jasper,
I see that you have been involved with this question before with the client. Do you have any suggestions for how to raise the UVLO for this part?

Russell
i think a input voltage detector is needed to detect the input voltage and disable the device at VIN < 1.8V condition. but i don't have a simple circuit to implement this. so i suggested the voltage detect IC TPS3803.
