TPS61281A -About the behavior of power good at Vin=Vout

Hi Team,

Our customer are evaluating TPS61281A at the following conditions.

However, the power good repeats “High” and “Low” at Vin=Vout and Iout=35mA.

They are understanding that this case is the abnormal operation.

Additionally, according to our customer, this phenomenon does not occur at Vin>Vout (bypass operation) and Vin<Vout(boost operation).

And, if no load(output of TPS61281A is open), this phenomenon does not occur at Vin=3.0V to 4.2V.

Therefore, they would like to know the cause of this abnormal operation.

May the power good output become “Low” when Vin=Vout?

[Conditions]

-Vin=3.35V

-Vout=3.35V

-Iout= 35mA

-Cin=4.7uF

-Cout=22uF

-VSEL=High (connected to VIN through 100kohm.)

-EN=High (connected to VIN.)

-/BYP=High (connected to VIN through 100kohm.)

-MODE=Low (connected to GND.)

-PG is connected to VIN through 100kohm.
