I have a question about LM5119Q.

When I do not use internal regulator, is it no problem that VIN-terminal open?

Please teach me the most suitable disposal of VIN-terminal.

My recommendation is to connect VIN pin to VCC pin.

My understanding is as follows.

The explanation of VCCDIS of page-3 of the DS has a mention as follows.

"Optional input that disables the internal VCC regulators when external biasing is supplied."

When I don't use the internal VCC regulators, the most suitable disposal of VIN-pin is to connect VIN-pin to VCC-pins.

Is it correct?

Hi Daisuke

My recommendation is to connect VIN to VCC.

VIN also can be left open, but in this case, there should be VIN capacitor at the VIN pin close to the IC.
