Hi Team,

Our customer would like to use TPS62130A at the following conditions.

[condition]

Vin= 3.0V to 4.2V (1cell battery)

Vout= -3.3V

Iout=around 1.0A

Therefore, they would like to know the recommended layout pattern for inverting Buck-Boost.

Could you please let us know if you have this information?

I found “Using the TPS6215x in an Inverting Buck-Boost Topology”.

However, the recommended layout pattern is not mentioned in this application note.

The layout for an inverting buck boost using a buck converter is basically the same as for the buck converter layout. There's an extra cap to add and this can go basically anywhere near the IC or even on the back of the PCB if desired.
