TPS61200 Pin 3 gets damage

Hello everybody,

in the following design we have often problem with damaged at pin 3 of TPS61200. It gets after some uses low ohmic (3-4 Ohm) and input currents goes up to 600mA. Do somebody has idea, in which condition can it happen and what can cause it?

whta's the input voltage of tps61200? I need to confirm V_EXT is stable or not?

how tps61200 behaves if Pin3(L) is damaged, short to GND or open?

Input voltage comes from 3.6V Battery (ER 14250 HD) . Pin 3(L) behaves short to GND.

please dis-connect tps61200 from the circuit ahead and power with external power supply, then check whether tps61200 will still be damaged. Hard to see the behavior on my bench.
