There is no particular reason. I just thought that would be interesting to try. If it allows the voltages to return, then we can look into any possible timing issues.

Like I said, there is nothing to teach. I was only making a suggestion to try. There is no specification that I know of for timing, but some circuits may require extended time to be recognized.
