Hi Team,
There is difference of thermal resistance value between old datasheet and revised.
Could you tell me the background of the difference?
(SLVSAX2 –SEPTEMBER 2011)
(SLVSAX2A –SEPTEMBER 2011–REVISED JULY 2015)

All the TI datasheet has been revised to the new format. So please refer to the new datasheet and neglect the old one.

Hi Helen-san,
Thank you for your reply.
I would like to ask one more.
There is a large difference of thermal resistance value between TPS61170-Q1 and the following TPS61170(non automotive) although the package is the same.
Are theses values correct?
If the answer is yes, I would also like to know the reason of the difference.
Best Regards,
Yaita
Yaita_San,
TPS61170-Q1 and TPS61170 are different part, if they have different lead-frame, then their RϴJA will deifferent.

Hi Helen-san,
Thank you for your reply.
I understood TPS61170-Q1 and TPS61170 are different part.
I would like to confirm if the thermal resistance of TPS61170-Q1 is the correct value just in case.
Is it correct value?
Best Regards,
Yaita
Yaitan-San,
In generally, the data should be correct. TPS61170-Q1 is belong to the MSA team. You can contact with the engineer in that product line for detailed information.
