Dear Sir

My customer remove input capacitor and (Vin)power source from power supply 12V.output set to 5V.

but Tps562200 will burn when power supply turn on.

May you havng suggestion? (we know the DS suggest input cap suggest 10uF  but there have no more description)

                                           Best regards,

                                                        Bogey

  • You absolutely must have an input decoupling capacitor, located as close tot he IC VIN and GND pins as possible.  10uF ceramic X5R or better.  You might be able to be a little flexible on the capacitor value, but 10 uF is recommended.
