They consider to use TPS53355 under the following condition.
Vin=12V
Vout=1V
Iout=30A
They checked efficiency data at their condition in datasheet, it is about 87%. So power loss is about 3.9W.
They estimated Tj by thermal resistance θj-a=27.2C/W.
ΔTj = 3.9W * 27.2C/W
= 106.08C
They has concern if the device can use their condition or not. Because ΔTj is high. So they want to know Tj measurement data.
