TPS61021A: Tps61021A The voltage overshoot and sags

Part Number: TPS61021A

I do with the Tps61021A voltage boost, battery power input voltage 3.0V, output voltage 3.9V, to the GPRS module power supply, with the 2A peak current  in burst mode of the GSM , Burst time 577us, normal time 4.6ms, Tps61021 voltage output in the Burst timing for 3.7V, Burst at the end of the voltage for 4.1V, Please look at how to solve

  • Hi,

Do you mean the normal output voltage is 4.1V, but during the 577us Burst, the voltage drop to 3.7V? There will be a voltage drop during the load transient, we can't avoid it. But we can optimize it by adding more output capacitance and by the feedforward capacitor.

could you please share your schematic with me?  helen.chen@ti.com
