Hello :

      I will design a power supply that  input is 14v and ouput is 40v/15A . So the input current is more than 45A .I will chose the TPS43060 as master chip .The WEBENCH Design Center  show that the current is over  the limit .But  switch current limit in the net （Products for Boost controller(external swithc)）parameter list  is  20A ,but data sheet have not the parameter.I think the current is depend the Isense input .If  decrease the volatage of the two Isense input port by parallel sample resistor ,so I can get the bigger current in circuit , right ?

    HI Blue,

    The current rating is limited by the external FETs and Isense input voltage.

    If the Isense input voltage is within spec and the FETs can handle current, it should be doable.

    One suggestion is to add gate resistor with anti-parallel diode for both LDRV and HDRV signals, in case they are needed to increase dead time, because the FETs in your application mgiht have large Cgs.
