TPS63070: Vout accuracy for TPS630701

Part Number: TPS63070

Hello,

In the datasheet, we can see the accuracy for TPS63070, but TPS630701(fixed 5Vout version) is not shown.

Could  anyone provide the Vout accuracy value or data for TPS630701 ?

  • Did you take a look at fig 38. and 39. of the datasheet?
    What is the specification of the customer? What it the end application?

    Hello Sabrina-san,

    The customer thinks that TPS630701 Vout accuracy is a little bigger than TPS63070(1% in PWM mode and 3% in F|PFM mode)

    due to internal divider resistors. (Is the accuracy of TPS63070 not include external divider resistors accuracy, right ?)

    And they cannot decide whether their thought is collect or not by Fig.38 and 39 of the datasheet.

    The application is some FA equipment (detail is not cleared so far).

    The measurements on Fig. 38 and 39 were taken on the EVM, therefor includes the external resistor divider accuracy (1%)
    What accuracy does the customer wants to achieve?

    Hello Sabrina-san,
    The customer wants to know which has better accuracy... please let us know.
    1) TPS63070 with external 1% resistors or TPS630701
    2) TPS63070 with external 0.5% resistors or TPS630701
    The conditions are as belows.
    Vin = 4 to 8V
    Vout = 5.0V
    Iout = 0.3A typ / 1A peak

    The TPS63071 is more accurate, the Vout accuracy specified in the electrical characteristics table p.7 includes also the internal resistive divider accuracy.
