TPS40425: maximum VOUT

Hello,

The maximum suggested Vout for TPS40425 is 3.6V.
The maximum suggested Vout for TPS40425 is 5V.

which one support 5.0V ? tps40425 or tps40428? and how can we adjust this?

Is there a device that support over 5.0V ...5.2V??

WEBENCH does only support up to 4.5V , can we use webench outside this limits?

Regarding Webench, which device do you refer ?
TPS40428+csd95378B should be able to support 5-5.2Vout design.
The remote sense amplifier of TPS40428 needs to be bypassed in this applicaiton.

about Webench -> the tps40428 is supported for 0.6 to 4.5V
the tps40425 is supported from 0.6 to 5.5V
this does not match your statement in previous email

The Webench is for typical application. The limit may be extended if we do some changes on the circuit.

Can you let me know your design SPEC, like Vin, Vout, Iout?

Hello Qian,

Vin = 11 to 13V , Vout 5.25V @ 30 amps. I would like to have a two phase and be able to use 1.5uH inductors due to height requirement (3.5mm max)
