TPS61030: Unwanted sound with and without LOAD from TPS61030

Hi,

I am new in PCB designing I have created a PCB that can boost Lithium Polymer/Ion battery voltages to 5 Volts to drive RGB LEDs (APA102 5050, APA102 3535, APA102 2020, SK6805-2427, SK6812 MINI 3537) from ESP8266 WROOM-02.

I have used this IC after MCP73871, it is used to charge the battery.

I have used these C1 = 10uF (1206 Ceremic) with 0.1uF (0805 Ceremic), C2 = 2.2uF (0805 Ceremic), C3 = 100uF (1210 Ceremic) , at LBO MUN2114T1 with LED and Resistor of 1k ohms is used to check low battery status.

I am facing few problems that which I switch on my circuit I heart unwanted sound from my power side and when the load is increased it become more prominent.And also LED at LBO blinks with low light and when I increase load intensity of this LED increases intead battery is fully charged.

I can provide you pictures or videos please guide me.

I am really losing my hope from my first PCB.

please apply an TPS61030EVM for reference. you can connect the EVM to your system board to replace the TPS61030 circuit in the board. this would help us to locate this issue quickly.
you can also insert the schematic, bom and layout to this post

Thanks for your reply I am learning about TPS61030EVM. If you can provide me useful links that will be great and also how to use it.
I have attach PDF that contain schematic,layout and bom. In this file you can see my power circuitry that will use to drive the load. Please review that and guide me accordingly. TPS61030 Power Circuit.pdf

you can refer to the user guide of the TPS61030EVM.
the layout of your circuit is not good. please following the suggestion in the datasheet and this application note "www.ti.com/.../slva773.pdf"

about the audible noise issue, please help to measure the waveform in VBAT pin and VOUT pin of the TPS61030

Thanks Jasper for your fast response
I will provide you Waveform as soon as possible. Kindly guide me why LED at LBO is blinking ? Have I used wrong transistor MUN2114T1 should I use MMBT2907AL?
Kindly tell me if you need other test results.

you can know that the VBAT drop below 1.6V which will trigger protection of tps61030. this issue is caused by the device powering the VBAT.

We have Bypassed everything before TPS61030 and connected battery to the VBAT of it. And still getting sound like TICK TICK TICK........

Moreover we have solved the problem of continuous beep from it by changing output capacitor 220uF from ceramic to polar.

Please from where it is comming.

the ceramic capacitor can generate audible noise, but the tantalum or aluminum capacitor is ok.
please double check if the input and output is stable now.
