According to the datasheet the EN pin should be left floating to enable the device.
Are there any recommendations to mitigate a false turn off , say during a ESD event?

Hi Carlo,
You could enable the device by leaving the en pin floating or using EN network. You could use a small cap like 1-nF between EN pin and GND to filter the noise.
