TPS549D22: Unused PMbus pins

Hello,

I have gotten answer for unused PMbus pins(PMB_CLK, PMB_DATA and SMB_ALRT#) termination when PMbus is unused on the below post.

It seems to be OK that these pins are left open. But I have some additional questions.

https://e2e.ti.com/support/power_management/non-isolated_dcdc/f/196/p/711485/2622074

1)

As far as I measured, there seems to be no interenal pull-down or up on these pins.

Why is it OK to left open these pins?

2)

Because I’m afraid of a noise effect, I want to add external termination.

What kind of termination is the best way? Is external Pull-up the best?

Regards,

Oba
