Q: TPS62261-Q1: Momentary minus voltage on SW node by 1878258

My customer is concerned with momentary minus voltage (-0.7V) at SW pin as shown in the below picture.

I think this is from the body diode of the low side FET when it is off, and quite a normal operation.

However, since the absolute rating at SW is specified at -0.3V, the voltage appears here violates the spec.

Please let me know how I should handle this behavior.

Or, is there anything strange?

By the way, Vin=3.3V and Vout=1.8V.

You are correct, that is normal behavior.  The -0.3 V spec comes from the process specification and is the absolute maximum DC voltage.

We also wrote this app note to better explain this spec: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva494/slva494.pdf  It is found on the device's product page.
