Original Question: Reg 711 - can EN go above Vin?
I have a question about the REG711.
Can the voltage on the EN pin be above Vin if the current is limited to ~150uA? The data sheet stated that EN voltage cannot exceed Vin. The customer may encounter a situation where EN will exceed Vin, but the current will be limited. Is this OK?

The abs max table states: "Stresses above these ratings may cause permanent damage. Exposure to absolute maximum conditions for extended periods may degrade device reliability." So, we cannot ok violating the abs max ratings, even with reduced currents, etc.
