Q: TPS62067 minimum recommended feedback resistor value selection by 654008
A customer wants to reduce the resistor value to ground from the recommended 120 Kohms to 100 Kohms because .1 % tolerance resistors are not available in values above 100 Kohms for 402 SM resistors. He wants to know what impact this will have if any on reliability or performance.

This is ok. The resistors are sized large to increase the efficiency at light loads by reducing the current through the divider. They may be made smaller with no effect on the IC, other than increased input current due to the increased current drawn by the resistors. Adjusting the feedback resistors may require them to adjust the feedforward capacitor to keep the location of that pole and zero at the same frequency, per page 17 of the datasheet.
