Is there a PSI-JT figure available for the TPS65251in RHA package?

Under Absolute Maximum Ratings in the datasheet it says the "Operating virtual junction temperature range" is -40C to 125C, so I assume maximum junction temperature is 125C. The thermal shutdown set point is 160C. Is there no thermal protection between 125C and 160C?

The PSI-JT value is not listed in the TPS65251 datasheet at this time.  I would expect the value to be close to the TPS65023 PSI-JT value of 0.1degC/W.  This value should be close enough for thermal measurements.  If you need the other thermal parameters, you can contact the PIC and request the information.  This data will be tgenerated and added to the datasheet.  Thermal protection is only at 160 degC.  It is intended to protect against a gross failure condition and should not be used in normal operation.  Repeatedly operating at a condition that trips the over temperature protection violates the TPS65251 absolute maximum operating conditions and can damage the IC.
